Hey! I’m Connor - though online you’ll probably know me as flick_is_online. I’m an illustrator based in the North West of the UK, and I’m all about fan art. If I love it, I’ll draw it - movies, music, video games, TV shows… all the good stuff.

I’ve got a bachelor’s degree in Illustration, and I’m proficient in Clip Studio Paint, Adobe Photoshop, and Procreate, which I use to bring my ideas (and obsessions) to life. Over the years, I’ve had the chance to sell my work at record fairs and other events, which has been an awesome way to meet people who connect with what I do.

My art style sits somewhere in the realm of semi-realistic, with line art inspired by the bold, stylised feel of The Walking Dead video games, Borderlands, and classic comic books. When it comes to rendering, I keep things intentionally messy and expressive, letting every brush stroke show  - a love letter to one of my biggest artistic inspirations, Vincent van Gogh. Some of my all-time favourite illustrators shaping my creative world are Butcher Billy and Drew Struzan, whose work continues to push me and influence my approach.

One of the wildest parts of this journey has been getting recognition from some of the people I’ve drawn - including Alfie Boe, James Marriott, Ghost, and BBNO$, to name a few. Seeing them appreciate my work has been genuinely surreal.

I’m also hoping to attend conventions in the future, where I’ll finally get the chance to share my art in person with other like-minded fans across all kinds of media. Looking forward to it - and thanks for being here!
